The Maintenance Technician will serve as the steward of various properties, ensuring that all maintenance tasks and general repairs are executed with diligence. This role includes the organization and care of tools and equipment utilized for daily operations, along with fulfilling additional responsibilities as assigned. This position is offered on a full-time basis.
Duties
- Conduct maintenance and minor repairs across various properties located in the Brampton and Milton regions.
- Perform regular maintenance inspections and repairs within commercial buildings.
- Ensure the cleanliness and upkeep of exterior premises.
- Execute snow removal and landscaping maintenance as required.
- Provide assistance to tradespeople in electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and general repair tasks.
- Maintain a clean environment in client spaces during and after repair activities.
- Identify and report any necessary major repairs.
Skills

- A commendable attitude and approach to work.
- A minimum of five (5) years of experience within the general construction industry.
- Possession of a valid full G driver's license (the use of a personal vehicle is preferred, and reimbursement for its use may be available).
- Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including both day and night, as well as weekends.
- Capability to travel to various locations throughout southern Ontario (GTA).
- Proficiency in communicating effectively and professionally with supervisors, clients, and the general public.
- Ability to lift objects weighing up to 50 lbs.
- WHMIS certification is required; training may be provided.
- A clear criminal background check is mandatory for this position.
- Proficiency in the English language.
