Your role
Please note this role is based in Gasp\xc3\xa9.
As assigned by your supervisor or a technician from a higher group, you will perform duties involved in maintaining broadcasting and transmission systems/equipment, such as function-testing, configuring, installing, inspecting, troubleshooting, repairing and refurbishing, according to established standards, in a cross-functional environment that includes networking, electronics and computer systems.
Qualifications
Job requirements:
College diploma in electronics technology (telecommunications or computer systems option) or other relevant field
Three or more years\xe2\x80\x99 experience, given the cross-functional nature of the job
Valid driver\xe2\x80\x99s licence (you will be required to regularly operate ATVs and snowmobiles)
We are looking for a candidate with the following:
RF experience
Experience with IP-based broadcast technology an asset
Experience repairing and soldering circuit boards an asset
Hands-on experience with telecommunications, broadcasting, transmission and satellite reception equipment
Mechanical knowledge an asset
Solid command of spoken and written French
Knowledge of English an asset
