Overview:

Merlin Plastics Supply Inc. is seeking a skilled

Maintenance Mechanic Technician

to join our industrial team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in machinery installation, maintenance, and repair, with a strong focus on safety and efficiency. This is an on-site role requiring physical work in various environments including heights, confined spaces, and noisy or dusty conditions.

Key Responsibilities:

Assemble, install, and maintain mechanical equipment and machinery. Detect, troubleshoot, and repair irregularities or malfunctions in equipment. Replace defective machinery parts as needed. Perform routine maintenance on machinery, including conveyors, hydraulic and pneumatic systems, pumps, and compressors. Operate hoisting and lifting equipment safely. Use power tools, tool grinders, and forklifts as required.

Qualifications:

Education:

Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.

Experience:

3 to 5 years in industrial maintenance or mechanical technician roles. Equipment and machinery expertise, including conveyors, hydraulic/pneumatic systems, pumps, compressors, and power tools. Ability to work at heights, in confined spaces, and under physically demanding conditions. Excellent attention to detail and ability to work under pressure. Strong oral communication skills and a proven team player.

Physical Requirements:

Handling heavy loads. Bending, crouching, kneeling, and standing for extended periods. Capable of performing physically demanding tasks.

Pay: $35.00-$37.00 per hour
