About the Role
In this vital role, you will support the function of the client\'s Fulfillment Center (FC) operation, as a member of the Reliability Maintenance & Engineering (RME) team. As part of the RME team you will repair, maintain, and continuously improve functionality of materials handling equipment and robotic systems throughout the facility. Collaborating with the Operations team and other business partners, you will work behind the scenes to ensure optimal productivity for the site using industrial troubleshooting techniques, Predictive Maintenance (PdM) tools, and your maintenance knowledge to supervise and resolve equipment issues before they arise.
As a Service Technician II you\'ll be a critical team member and have a path forward to develop your skills and advance your career grow into a Service Technician III after 2 years of successful service. This role works 10-hour shifts, 4 days a week.

Responsibilities
Promote a safe working environment by following all safety procedures.
Complete and properly document preventative maintenance routines.
Solve electrical and mechanical issues related to all MHE equipment, including belts, motors, photo-eyes, relays, and more.
Install, maintain, and repair automated packaging and distribution equipment.
Track and store department inventory.
Cultivate positive working relationships with RME business partners and Operations Maintenance team members.

EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE
High school diploma or general education degree (GED) and a minimum of one year of related experience and/or training.
CERTIFICATES and/or LICENSES
May require valid driver\'s license.
COMMUNICATION SKILLS
Ability to comprehend and interpret instructions, short correspondence, and memos and ask clarifying questions to ensure understanding. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from clients, co-workers, and/or supervisor.
FINANCIAL KNOWLEDGE
Ability to calculate simple figures such as percentages.
REASONING ABILITY
Ability to understand and carry out general instructions in standard situations. Ability to solve problems in standard situations. Requires basic analytical skills.
OTHER SKILLS and ABILITIES
Uses personal computer and / or PDA for work order system, email, ESS and training. Basic skills with Microsoft Office Outlook. Physical requirements include stooping, standing, walking, climbing stairs / ladders and ability to lift / carry heavy loads of 50 lbs. or more.

SAFETY
