Job Description
Killam Apartment REIT, based in Halifax, Nova Scotia, is one of Canada's largest residential real estate investment trusts, owning, operating, and developing a $5.3 billion portfolio of apartments and manufactured home communities. We are currently searching for a Maintenance Technician to support our Fredericton Maintenance team for a seven (7) week term. If you are a team player with a proven ability to excel in a dynamic, fast-paced environment this may be the opportunity for you.
What you will do:
Fit and install trim items, such as doors, stairs, molding and hardware; Maintain, repair and renovate residences; General maintenance and/or painting; Knowledge of plumbing, minor electrical, carpentry, etc.; Flooring installation; All other duties as required.
Who you are:
Experience in a similar role; Ability to work as a team, and also under minimal supervision; Effective, proven skills and experience; Renovations experience an asset; Plumbing experience, general trades experience; General knowledge of electrical an asset; Must have own vehicle.
