experienced Machine Technician

to join our team and support the maintenance, troubleshooting, and operation of specialized equipment in our production facility.

Position Overview

The Machine Technician will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and troubleshooting a variety of food production machinery. The ideal candidate will have experience with

form fill and seal machines, tub line labelling machines, and tunnel ovens

, along with strong knowledge of

mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems

.

Key Responsibilities

Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot: Form Fill & Seal Machines Tub Line Labeling Machines Tunnel Ovens Shrink Wrappers Date Coding Machines Metal Detectors Perform routine preventive maintenance to minimize downtime. Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues. Ensure all machines run efficiently and meet production targets. Work closely with the maintenance manager and production staff to resolve equipment issues quickly. Maintain accurate maintenance and repair records. Follow all

health, safety, and food safety (HACCP/GMP)

standards.

Qualifications

3+ years of experience as a Machine Technician in a food manufacturing or related environment. Strong background in mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic troubleshooting. Experience with food production machinery (form fill and seal, tunnel ovens, labelling lines, etc.) is required. Knowledge of PLC systems and automation is an asset. Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
