Position Overview:
We seek a qualified Electromechanical Technician with proven mechanical and electrical systems, diagnostics, and equipment maintenance skills. This is a hands-on, team-based role where your expertise will keep our wide range of machinery in peak condition and contribute directly to customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate will have experience in the manufacturing industry.
Under the direct supervision of the Maintenance Manager, the Electromechanical Technician will be responsible for performing maintenance and repairs on facility equipment and property structures. Must be willing to work off standard hours and overtime as required.
Support training and mentoring of junior technicians or apprentices as required
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
Strong troubleshooting/problem solving skills of all aspects of production equipment including pneumatic, hydraulic, power transmission, electrical systems, PLC's and control.
Able to interpret drawings/schematics in hydraulics, pneumatics, and electrical systems.
Has an excellent mechanical and electrical aptitude.
Understand basic machining and knowledge of various fine measurement tools.
Basic computer skills
An understanding of maintenance management systems and preventative maintenance programs.
Related Experience:
3-5 years of experience in an Industrial production environment would be an asset.
Technical vocational training is required. (Electro-Mechanical/Industrial Electrician...)
