Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Maintenance Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and the ability to troubleshoot and repair various systems and equipment. This role requires a proactive approach to maintenance, ensuring that all machinery operates efficiently and safely. The Maintenance Technician will work closely with other team members, demonstrating leadership skills while supervising maintenance tasks and projects. Company Vehicle will be provided.

Responsibilities

Perform routine maintenance on machinery and equipment to ensure optimal performance. Troubleshoot mechanical issues and conduct repairs as necessary. Read and interpret schematics to understand system operations. Utilize Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) for tracking maintenance tasks and inventory. Fabricate parts or components as needed to support repairs or upgrades. Supervise junior maintenance staff, providing guidance and training as required. Operate welding equipment for repairs and fabrication tasks. Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including repairs performed and parts used. Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations in all maintenance activities.

Requirements

Proficient in English, both written and verbal communication skills. Strong mechanical knowledge with experience in troubleshooting various systems. Familiarity with logic controllers and their applications in machinery operation. Experience using CMMS for managing maintenance tasks is preferred. Ability to read schematics and technical drawings effectively. Leadership skills with experience supervising or mentoring junior staff members is a plus. Proficiency in welding techniques for metal fabrication and repair work. Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
