Due to the growth of our business, we are seeking a skilled and organized maintenance technician coordinator to oversee and perform maintenance operations across our facility. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of experience in maintenance-related fields and previous experience in a maintenance administrative role within manufacturing environment ensuring all equipment and systems are operating efficiently and safely.

The Maintenance Technician Coordinator is responsible for coordinating planned maintenance activities, performing hands-on preventative and corrective maintenance schedules internally while also adhering to administrative tasks that support maintenance operations. This role ensures equipment reliability, compliance with maintenance schedules, accurate documentation, and effective coordination within the department.

Major Areas Of Duties and Responsibilities

Use of ERP systems Maintenance procedure development Ability to work accurately, effectively and oversee multiple tasks Demonstrated computer skills (Microsoft word, excel, power point) Document all maintenance activities, repairs and inspections Create, assign, track maintenance requests and tasks Coordinating planned internal maintenance activities with technician(s) Support facility management team in successfully fulfilling company requirements Process optimization to ensure production runs smoothly with minimal downtime Ability to exercise good judgment and initiative Set-up new equipment systems according to specifications Maintain tools, equipment, spare part inventory supplies and reorder as needed Troubleshoot, repair equipment malfunctions and breakdowns Laise with technician(s), management and other department for ideal team communication Ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations Problem solving and decision-making skills

Qualifications

High school diploma or associate degree in mechanical, electrical or industrial maintenance preferred Vocational training or technical certifications 5+ years in maintenance or facility operations Maintenance strategy development * Ability to read technical manuals, blueprints and schematics
