We are currently seeking a reliable and skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team and help ensure that our facilities continue to meet the high standards our guests expect.

Position Overview:

As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for the day-to-day maintenance and repair of our building, guest rooms, and equipment. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, general knowledge of basic repairs, and a commitment to safety and guest satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance of guest rooms, public areas, and building systems (plumbing, electrical, HVAC, etc.) Respond promptly to guest and staff maintenance requests Complete minor repairs including painting, drywall, carpentry, lighting, and furniture Monitor and maintain pool and hot tub (if applicable) including water testing and chemical balancing Maintain maintenance logs and ensure compliance with safety and fire codes Coordinate with outside vendors and contractors when necessary Ensure maintenance areas are clean, organized, and safe

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent; trade certification is an asset

Previous experience in building or hotel maintenance required

Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and general repairs Ability to work independently and troubleshoot issues efficiently Strong communication and organizational skills Must be able to lift 50 lbs, climb ladders, and work in various conditions Availability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and on-call rotations

Pay: $22.00-$25.00 per hour
