Job Description

Join us! Our team is looking for a Maintenance Technician (Non-Ticketed) that supports the day-to-day operation of the plant by performing routine maintenance, troubleshooting equipment issues, and performing preventive maintenance activities. This role plays a key part in reducing downtime, supporting production teams, and maintaining a safe and compliant work environment.

Wage Range:

$25-$30/hr. depending on experience.

DUTIES:



Detect, troubleshoot, and report equipment irregularities and malfunctions to minimize production downtime. Assist in the installation, repair, and overhaul of machinery and mechanical equipment. Perform routine maintenance tasks and support corrective maintenance activities as directed. Participate in developing and completing preventive maintenance inspections in compliance with HACCP, JSA, and SOP standards. Support work related to refrigeration, hydraulics, vacuum systems, fabrication, and basic electrical tasks as needed and under the guidance of licensed technicians. Assist with PLC-related tasks under the guidance of licensed technicians. Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and technical specifications to support maintenance activities. Maintain a clean, safe, and organized workspace and follow all safety protocols.

QUALIFICATIONS:



Maintenance experience of at least 2 years required. Experience working in the food manufacturing/processing industry is an asset. Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with production and maintenance teams. Basic working knowledge of computers, electronics, and PLC technologies. Ability to follow instructions, prioritize tasks, and always work safely. Note: A trade ticket is not required for this role, but relevant technical experience is essential.
