General Maintenance Technician

We are looking for a skilled and reliable General Maintenance Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing routine maintenance tasks, troubleshooting mechanical and electrical, (pneumatic and hydraulic), issues, and ensuring the upkeep of our facilities. If you have a keen eye for detail, a strong work ethic, and a broad skill set in general maintenance, we would love to hear from you.

Responsibilities:

Respond to maintenance requests in a timely manner.

Operate and maintain tools, machinery, and equipment used for maintenance tasks.

Monitor and maintain heating, ventilation, and cooling systems.

Maintain and repair basic mechanical components, plumbing fixtures, and electrical systems.

Work with outside vendors as needed for specialized repairs or projects.

Assist with facility improvements, renovations, and installations as required.

Participate in safety inspections and ensure that facility and equipment adhere to safety standards.

Document all maintenance and repair activities.

Ensure safety regulations and building codes are followed.

Maintain cleanliness and organization of tools, supplies, and work areas.

Position Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or relevant trade school training preferred.

5 - 7+ years of experience in facility and/or equipment maintenance or a related field.

Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.

Familiarity with HVAC systems, plumbing, and basic electrical wiring.

Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics.

Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Proficiency in using hand and power tools, as well as diagnostic equipment.

Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize work based on urgency.

Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Physical ability to lift heavy objects, stand for extended periods, and work in various environmental conditions.

Pay: $24.00-$32.00 per hour
