Maintenance Team Member

Southside Golf Course is looking for friendly, hard working and dedicated people to join our amazing team for the 2025 Golf Season! Southside Golf Course is one of Winnipeg's "best kept secrets". Qualifications:

Ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Available to work the golf season (April - October).

Early morning, weekend and holiday availability.

Must be dependable and punctual.

Must be self motivated and organized.

Exceptional attention to detail.

Willingness to learn new skills.

Communicates in a polite and friendly manner with team members and guests.

Ability to lift 50 lbs.

Ability to work outdoors in a variety of weather conditions.

Must have reliable transportation. No bus service available.

Golf experience an asset but NOT required.

Landscaping experience considered an asset but NOT required.

Maintenance Responsibilities:

Perform daily maintenance tasks including mowing, trimming trees, raking bunkers, watering changing pins, weed eating.

Operate mowing equipment.

Demonstrates knowledge and safety while using equipment.

Perform course set up for daily play and tournaments by coordinating efforts with the golf course management team.

Wash, gas and stage golf carts for daily use.

Pick up driving range, clean and stock range balls.

Adhere to the safety standards of the Course and Grounds Department.

Perform other related duties as directed by the Golf Course Superintendent or Management Team.
