Our employees help bring this vision to reality by working together to ensure high quality and standards.We are currently looking for a Maintenance Team Lead to join our team.Position SummaryThe Maintenance Team Lead will ensure that production runs uninterrupted by maintaining a preventative maintenance schedule and supporting departments in troubleshooting issues as they arise with minimum downtime. The Maintenance Team Lead will coordinate with Machine Operators and external stakeholders to ensure all required quality and safety requirements are met in a cost-efficient manner. The Successful candidate will need to have experience in developing and maintaining preventative maintenance systems and supporting/training a team of operators in a manufacturing environment. The successful candidate possesses strong interpersonal skills and collaborates with multiple stakeholders to execute targets in a fast-paced, time-sensitive environment.Responsibilities\xc2\xb7 Develop and maintain preventative maintenance standards and schedules for all mechanical/electrical systems and equipment; this includes disassembly, cleaning, reassembly, and calibration.\xc2\xb7 Develop a repair and maintenance data tracker and reporting system. Collect repair and maintenance data performed and ensure proper follow-up actions are taken and documented.\xc2\xb7 Analyze test results, machine error messages, and information obtained from operators; troubleshoot and diagnose equipment and system problems based on data received.\xc2\xb7 Repair and maintain the operating condition of production equipment, including reassembly of parts after completion of repair, testing, or inspection.\xc2\xb7 Read and interpret drawings, blueprints, schematics and electrical code specifications to determine layout of industrial electrical equipment installations\xc2\xb7 Continuous learning and improvement of technical skills to remain current on equipment installation and operations, including the set-up and programming processes.\xc2\xb7 Utilize welding skills to cut and weld metal for parts repairs, fabrication, and assembly of new equipment.\xc2\xb7 Provide demonstrations and training on production equipment for new machine operators; communicate the various safety, control, and operating features in a clear and concise manner.\xc2\xb7 Coordinate completion of work orders with cross-functional team members, to ensure cost-effectiveness and productivity standards are met.\xc2\xb7 Communicate potential mechanical hazards on equipment to supervisors and operators.\xc2\xb7 Ensure that any safety related work orders are given a top priority in operations, ensuring adherence to Provincial and Federal regulations as well as company policy and procedures.\xc2\xb7 Support continuous improvement initiatives. Present suggestions for improvement to achieve best practice standards.\xc2\xb7 Provide recommendations on preventative maintenance programs for applicable equipment and improvement opportunities for systems functionality.\xc2\xb7 Perform other tasks as assigned.Qualifications\xc2\xb7 Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or certificate/licence in related trade preferred.\xc2\xb7 3-5 years of hands-on experience in automation/manufacturing/industrial maintenance.\xc2\xb7 1-2 years of supervisory or team lead experience\xc2\xb7 Excellent English language skills (oral and written) required.\xc2\xb7 Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude required.\xc2\xb7 Strong computer skills (MS Office and other applications).\xc2\xb7 Experience with preventative maintenance software applications\xc2\xb7 Demonstrates leadership, reliability, commitment, and initiative.\xc2\xb7 Ability to lead by example and encourage teams learning and development.\xc2\xb7 Ability to develop new systems/procedures and train others on them.\xc2\xb7 Ability to lead a team and influence change.\xc2\xb7 Ability to lift to 50 lbs. as neededRemuneration\xc2\xb7 $80,000\xc2\xb7 BenefitsWe support diversity, equity and a workplace free from harassment and discrimination.
