Your Role
I am currently recruiting for one of my clients, a mid-sized company in the metallurgical industry located in East Montreal, seeking a Maintenance Supervisor for a full-time permanent position (day shift, 6:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.).
Reporting to the Operations Manager, your responsibilities include:
-Leading and supervising a team of 7 maintenance technicians.
-Planning and coordinating preventive and corrective maintenance activities.
-Ensuring the availability of production equipment in collaboration with relevant departments.
-Diagnosing technical issues and proposing solutions to minimize downtime.
-Managing material resources, including parts and equipment procurement.
-Maintaining a safe work environment compliant with current regulations.
-Tracking performance metrics and preparing periodic reports.
-Contributing to process optimization and participating in continuous improvement projects.
Your Skills
-Natural leadership and ability to motivate a team.
-Strong technical expertise in industrial mechanics and/or electromechanics.
-Organized and results-oriented.
-Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to prioritize.
-Ability to work collaboratively in a demanding manufacturing environment.
Your Profile
-Technical degree (DEC) in industrial maintenance, electromechanics, or equivalent.
-Minimum 5 years of industrial maintenance experience, including 2 years in a supervisory role.
-Knowledge of the metallurgical industry, an asset.
-Bilingual (French/English, spoken and written).
-Proficient in Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS).
What We Offer
-Annual gross salary: $90,000-$100,000, based on experience.
-Annual bonus: 10% of base salary.
-Benefits: Comprehensive group insurance and employer-contributed pension plan (up to 18%).
-Fixed day shift schedule: 6:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
