Qualifications:

• Education Required: Bachelor degree or associate degree
• Years of Experience Required: 3 or more years of supervisory experience in an industrial maintenance application
• Knowledge of safety compliance programs as best practices
• Knowledge in key maintenance programs, such as reliability metrics, parts inventory management, project management, machining and mechanical practices is essential
• Strong computer skills in Microsoft Office is an asset
• Ability to prioritize tasks to consistently meet deadlines
• Knowledge of daily management processes is considered an asset

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee the complete maintenance program including a team of Supervisors, Industrial Mechanics, Welders, Electricians and Clean-up crew.
• Managing training and development programs to further the skills of the team
• Managing and preparing maintenance spending budgets
• Part and inventory control, payroll and preparing and actioning the team to improve and manage key performance indicators in the department
• Commitment to top performance in a safe work environment is necessary
