Job Description

Chu Cho Industries (CCI) Is currently looking for a Maintenance Professional to work in our remote camp settings, seasonally as required.

The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the upkeep and general maintenance of camp facilities, including but not limited to plumbing and electrical issues, carpentry, garbage disposal, and snow removal. This individual will possess the knowledge, experience, and confidence to effectively respond to maintenance calls as required, as well as perform routine checks throughout the day, week and rotation. We are looking for someone who is well-rounded with a broad range of maintenance experience. The successful candidate must be willing and capable of fixing sewer issues when they arise.

Job Responsibilities

Follows all established and future standard operating procedures. Perform multiple perimeter and property foot patrols throughout the shift. Provide orientations to guest who are new to the camp. Complete daily and period reporting for management. Completing thorough maintenance logs. Ensures organization and cleanliness of the work area. Perform other maintenance duties and functions as requested. Help other departments, including kitchen, housekeeping, camp management during downtime. Respond to emergency situations at all times where maintenance is required Other duties as required.

Qualifications and Skills:

Experience performing basic plumbing and sewer duties and repairs required Experience performing basic carpentry duties and repairs required Experience performing basic electrical duties and repairs Class 5 driver's license required. Strong sense of urgency and independence required. Able to respond at all times, day or night, when urgent maintenance is required. Excellent communication skills Ability to effectively and safely perform heavy lifting and manual labour duties, including manual snow removal. Versatile, able to work under pressure and in stressful situations. Diligently follow health and safety rules. Able to work effectively in a team and willing to assist in other areas as required, including housekeeping, kitchen and other camp operations. Able to work extended hours on a 2 week on 2 week off rotation.

Pay: $225.00-$350.00 per day
