We are seeking a skilled and proactive Maintenance Person to join our team. This role is vital in ensuring the smooth operation and upkeep of our manufacturing facilities. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical, electrical, and troubleshooting skills, with experience in facilities maintenance and a focus on safety and efficiency. Responsibilities

Perform routine and preventive maintenance on machinery and equipment to minimize downtime. Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and PLC issues using schematics and technical manuals. Operate and maintain programmable logic controllers (PLCs) to ensure optimal machine performance. Utilize CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) for work orders, inventory, and documentation. Conduct welding repairs and mechanical adjustments as needed. Assist with electrical repairs, including wiring and component replacement. Read and interpret schematics, diagrams, and technical manuals to diagnose problems accurately. Supervise maintenance tasks when necessary, providing guidance to junior team members. Ensure all work complies with safety standards and facility protocols. Provide excellent customer service by responding promptly to maintenance requests from production teams.

Skills

Supervising experience in a manufacturing or facilities environment. Strong knowledge of programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and electrical systems. Proficiency with CMMS software for maintenance tracking and reporting. Welding skills for metal fabrication and repair tasks. Electrical experience including wiring, circuit troubleshooting, and component replacement. Mechanical knowledge related to machinery repair and maintenance. Ability to read schematics, technical diagrams, and manuals effectively. Experience in facilities maintenance within a manufacturing setting. Excellent communication skills in English for clear documentation and teamwork. Leadership qualities with the ability to supervise projects and mentor team members. This position is integral to maintaining operational excellence within our facility, requiring a dedicated professional with a comprehensive skill set in maintenance, troubleshooting, leadership, and customer service.
