Overview

The "Maintenance Production Support" team plays a critical role in ensuring smooth and efficient production operations. This includes preparing and setting up machinery for production, assisting Production Supervisors with work cell setups, and maintaining equipment throughout production runs. Team members are also responsible for promptly repairing equipment when necessary, adhering to all Health and Safety Policies, and reporting any unsafe conditions immediately. A strong understanding of HACCP principles and compliance with company GMPs is essential.


We are looking for individuals with a positive attitude who thrive in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and are capable of performing a variety of tasks.

Shift Availability

8-hour shifts (Day, Afternoon, or Night)

Compensation:

$19-$20/hr

Responsibilities

Prepare and ensure production equipment is ready for scheduled operations Quickly and efficiently perform breakdown repairs on the production floor Prioritize repair tasks according to the production schedule Swap out equipment if on-site repairs cannot be completed promptly Conduct off-floor repairs when equipment is not immediately needed Perform preventive maintenance on idle machinery Track spare parts usage and flag inventory that falls below minimum levels Identify technical issues with materials, components, and equipment Carry out plant-related maintenance tasks as required Maintain a clean, safe, and organized workspace Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and industry standards Maintain a professional demeanor and build positive relationships with team members Record all maintenance activities in the maintenance log Conduct PM checks and keep accurate records

Experience

Experience as a Machine Operator or similar role in a manufacturing environment is preferred. Mechanical aptitude (be able to make small repairs) and support maintenance personnel when needed Familiarity with quality control processes. Strong attention to detail with the ability to perform precise measurements and adjustments. Proven problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. Basic computer skills for data entry (Outlook/email and Excel). Solid communications skills (written & verbal).
