Premi\xc3\xa8re Moisson is currently looking for an Maintenance Planner/Inventory Manager for our Vaudreuil-Dorion plant. The candidate will identify, prepare and keep up to date preventive and corrective maintenance activities in order to optimize work efficiency.

Under the supervision of the Maintenance Manager, the successful candidate will support the Maintenance Supervisors and their teams in the overall management of plant maintenance activities, equipment reliability and life cycle, including safety and quality. He/she will take charge of work by ensuring the planning of purchases, complex tasks and/or tasks requiring internal/external contributors, in accordance with the rules and practices in force within the company.

Job status: Permanent / Full time

Schedule: Monday to Friday - 7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

Responsibilities:
  • Prepares and defines the detailed methodology (risk and precaution analysis, sequence of work instructions, specifications and dimensions, spare parts, lifting equipment, tool rentals, etc.) for carrying out work orders according to priorities and required resources, coordinating and supervising skills.
  • Develops and implements a preventive maintenance program.
  • Plans the schedule of work to be carried out during production stoppages and during production.
  • Ensures that all necessary materials are available for planned work orders.
  • Formalizes and keeps up to date:
  • Standard work procedures (detailed plans) for maintenance BTs (corrective, preventive and predictive)
  • Follow-up of outstanding work,
  • Equipment history and statistics,
  • Technical documentation/archive in paper and electronic format
  • Defines specifications for subcontracted work with maintenance supervisor and manager
  • Maintains up-to-date information and data in CMMS (Interal)
  • Prepares annual shutdowns of major equipment. (Shutdown)
  • Formalizes technical specifications for the purchase of spare parts
  • Manages general and specific technical documentation
  • Manages equipment coding
  • Maintains warehouse inventory and optimizes stock management. (Periodic inventory)
  • Orders missing parts and checks lead times
  • Receives merchandise and ensures order compliance.
  • Monitors invoicing and store budget
  • Manages repairable parts and warranties. (Engines, electronic parts.)
  • Develop performance indicators (improve store efficiency)
  • Follows up on tool deliveries and returns.
  • Promotes and assists employees in complying with health and safety requirements.
  • Actively participates in interdepartmental committees to find solutions to real problems
  • Work with the maintenance team to develop comprehensive maintenance strategies for all plant equipment and eliminate downtime through root cause analysis and reliability;
  • Reports problems to superior
  • Project management (OHS, Continuous Improvement, SQF)
  • Ensures the application of and compliance with SQF standards for the maintenance of the food safety and security program (SQF).
  • Other related duties
Requirements:
  • DEP or technical diploma in mechanical engineering, electromechanical engineering or other similar field
  • Three (3) to five (5) years\' experience in this capacity in a manufacturing environment
  • Relevant experience with a CMMS (an asset)
  • Proficiency in computer tools (Excel intermediate level, ERP system, Windows environment, inventory management system (an asset))
  • Bilingualism, French / English
  • Knowledge of mechanical and electrical terms for ordering parts required by a maintenance department
  • Forklift license an asset
