The Maintenance Planner reports to the Tech Ops Supervisor and is responsible for the development and ongoing technical support of maintenance programs for Operational Fleet aircraft and Regency Owned aircraft to ensure the timely and efficient completion of all required aircraft maintenance.
Responsibilities
Develop and oversee maintenance programs for operational fleet aircraft, ensuring compliance with OEM MPD revisions and incorporating updates in coordination with Reliability, Airworthiness, Records, and Compliance teams.
Coordinate with the Records group to manage accurate maintenance data, task cards, and load files in ERK software.
Plan and monitor maintenance for leased and purchased aircraft, including heavy/line checks, lease return packages, storage programs, and new acquisitions.
Review upcoming maintenance to support cost forecasting, risk assessments, and reserve planning, and provide guidance to lease customers on their maintenance programs.
Liaise with internal teams to advise on program revisions linked to operational changes, reliability findings, or fleet utilization.
Communicate maintenance impacts and requirements during Review Board meetings and support contract compliance with lease customers.
Perform other duties as required.
Skills and qualifications
AME (licensed or unlicensed) plus 5 years of aircraft maintenance program planning experience
OR non-AME with 10 years of relevant work experience of aircraft maintenance program planning experience
Must have knowledge of ATR and/or Boeing aircraft systems, manuals and maintenance programs (preference for knowledge with both aircraft types)
Good knowledge of Canadian Aviation Regulations (CARs) and other TCCA/FAA/EASA regulatory requirements.
Strong computer skills
Must be a self-starter with the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
Excellent interpersonal skills
Post Secondary education (2-year diploma in related field)
