JOB OPPORTUNITY

Maintenance Planner
YOUR MISSION OF EXCELLENCE

You will be responsible for scheduling all maintenance work according to production priorities and operational constraints.



WHAT YOU WILL ACCOMPLISH

Order parts and materials in line with maintenance work planning; Manage parts inventory required for maintenance activities; Research parts and identify equivalent components; Generate, plan, and optimize various maintenance tasks based on production availability; Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and health & safety programs; Manage the preventive maintenance program for equipment; Coordinate work to optimize production and use available resources as efficiently as possible; Collaborate with supervisors to determine tasks while considering the work schedule; Track maintenance activities to ensure completion; Follow up on quotes and service contracts with suppliers and subcontractors; Act as a backup for the Maintenance Supervisor when needed.



THE IDEAL PROFILE

College diploma in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Operations Management, or any equivalent combination of education and relevant experience; Proficiency in Guide TI software (an asset); Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; Strong attention to detail and organizational skills; Knowledge of the steel industry (an asset); Strong team spirit and collaboration skills.
