Position Title: Maintenance Planner

Summary of Position:

Responsible for Planning the work for Packaging area as well as be the line centric maintenance lead in packaging reporting to the Maintenance Manager.

Essential Duties / Responsibilities:

• Turns Notifications into WOs (exception might be for specialized electrical work depending on scope \xe2\x80\x93 in which case lead would Turn Notification to WO) and in discussion with Leads, ensure correct Priority for jobs
• Create & Update Standard Tasks (CIs, PMs, PdMs)
• Identifies Required Materials, get quotes and order specialized parts on WO
• Identifies timeframe and Resources Required for task
• Puts Revision on WO based on when parts will arrive (as required)
• Validates fully kitted parts are correct, of the right quantity and no items are missing and turn WOs into Ready to Schedule Status
• Collect & Action Feedback from Work
• Update BOMs in area
• Train & Educate Others on Maintenance Tasks
• Continually Optimize & Improve Maintenance Tasks
• Plan & Adhere to H&S Requirements
• Scheduling Contractors
• Other Duties as Assigned

Required Education, Knowledge, Skills & Abilities (Competencies)

• Licensed Red Seal Journeyperson Millwright
• Previous Packaging maintenance experience with specialized knowledge in tray pack is considered an asset
• Knowledge of materials, methods, and the tools involved in the construction or repair
• Knowledge of machines and tools, including their designs, uses, repair, and maintenance.
• Knowledge of relevant equipment, policies, procedures, and strategies to promote effective local, state, or national security operations for the protection of people, data, property, and institutions.
• Using logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions or approaches to problems.
• Selecting and using training/instructional methods and procedures appropriate for the situation when learning or teaching new things.
• Controlling operations of equipment or systems
• Developing constructive and cooperative working relationships with others
• Knowledge of SAP, Microsoft office and adobe pdf
