Job Description
Overview
We are looking for a dedicated worker to perform maintenance for a 96 unit, Non-Profit Housing complex. Plus a 5 bedroom bungalow for physical and psychologically handicapped individuals. Experience in all aspects of housing maintenance including grounds work is required.
Duties
Conduct regular inspections and maintenance of equipment and facilities to ensure optimal performance. Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, and plumbing issues as they arise. Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including repairs performed and parts used. Work with other staff to ensure that records are properly maintained. Work with other staff to carry out annual inspections of units. Maintain the property in a clean and safe state at all times.
Skills
Excellent communication skills to communicate with other staff and tenants. Possibly address the Board of Directors from time to time. The ability to work efficiently on your own. Experience in minor electrical, plumbing, drywall repairs, installation of doors and windows, carpentry skills and maintenance in general... Ability to do grounds work, grass cutting and trimming, snow plowing, tree trimming, fence repairs... Must have a valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
