YOUR NEXT CHALLENGE:

Reporting to the Mine Maintenance Supervisor, you will be part of the Maintenance Department. You will ensure that the goals and objectives are achieved while promoting and respecting Agnico Eagle's values, Health & Safety Code of Conduct and the environment.

Operate equipment around the mine site as needed. Perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting materials up to 40 lbs. Work in outdoor environments for extended periods. Move and count materials for inventory management and collaborate with the onsite warehousing department. Fabricate, assemble, and build various small items around the site as required. Perform general labor tasks as assigned by supervision. Assist mechanical departments with maintenance and operational tasks as requested.

WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED

High School Diploma or GED. Previous experience in site maintenance or operating equipment is considered an asset. Familiarity with the Ontario Mine Act and Regulations. Surface and Underground Common Core.

Your Work Schedule:Schedule: 7/7 or 14/14 schedule at our Detour Lake Mine; Accommodations and meals are provided on site at no cost to the employee. Agnico Eagle provides transportation to and from the mine site and will accommodate to cover other travelling expenses according to your location of residence in Canada.
