Maintenance Millwright Personnel

out of our Country Junction Feeds Wetaskiwin facility, located at 4707 40th Ave in Wetaskiwin, Alberta. This hands-on role will provide support to our maintenance and production operations and is critical to keeping our equipment running safely and efficiently. What you'll do:

Reporting to the Maintenance Foreman, the of Maintenance Millwright Personnel is a self-motivated individual who has strong attention to detail. Duties will include but are not limited to:

Install, inspect, test, troubleshoot, alter, replace and/or repair various systems and related equipment. Performing a variety of day-to-day maintenance tasks including electrical services, light carpentry, plumbing, painting, and greasing. Perform and implement regular preventative maintenance programs to minimize downtime and improve equipment reliability. Participate in working On-Call. Collaborate with maintenance and production teams to minimize downtime and improve equipment reliability. Follow all company safety and housekeeping standards, policies, and procedures, and complying with all regulatory requirements. Notifying management of any safety concerns. Knowledge of building systems, feed mill operations, industrial and production operations will be considered an asset.

Who you are:

You are looking for a career in Production, Trades and Maintenance and:

You are dependable and detail oriented. You have the ability to work safely at heights and in dusty, noisy, or hot environments. You are able to lift 50-75 lbs, work on your feet for extended periods, and climb ladders/stairs. You hold a Red Seal or Journeyman Millwright Certification, and/or have experience working through an Apprentice program. You posses a strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills. Proficient in the use of hand tools, power tools, welders, and cutting equipment. You have the ability to work in a team atmosphere with minimal supervision. You're honest and trustworthy, are results-oriented and strive to be the best in what you do. 2+ years of experience as a Millwright, Maintenance Mechanic, or similar role in a feed mill, grain handling, or agricultural processing facility is considered an asset.
