Maintenance MILLWRIGHT

10:00 am to 6:30 pm

As a key part of our Maintenance Team, you will be responsible for supporting and working with the maintenance group in our facility. Reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor, our Millwright is responsible for performing hands-on maintenance work as part of the team, troubleshooting, performing diagnostics, evaluating equipment requirements and for inputting and operating our preventative maintenance system.

This position is full-time and is expected to be a late day shift position (10:00 am to 6:30 pm) running on a standard Monday to Friday work week. It is expected that the hours will change in busier seasons and during Capital installation projects.

Responsibilities:

Complete and assist with hands on maintenance work on the facilities and equipment during the day as required and directed.

Some welding work.

Troubleshooting equipment.

Be willing to work on any type of repair or maintenance task as required.

Work cooperatively within the maintenance team, and with production and operations teams to effectively and efficiently coordinate and perform preventative, regular, and special/project maintenance items.

Maintain a high standard of safety and housekeeping within the maintenance shop and related equipment areas within the facility.

Qualifications - You ARE / HAVE:

Formal Red Seal Millwright qualifications or equivalent relevant experience.

A strong mechanical aptitude and the ability to problem solve.

Electrical experience would be an asset.

Diagnostic experience would be an asset.

Possess a high level of motivation and initiative.

Available to work flexible hours - with current expectations of a late day shift and extra hours when projects or emergencies require it.

Team player who works well in cooperative environment.

Proficiency in PC use, including MS office products.

Demonstrated experience and understanding of a Preventative Maintenance Program.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: From $41.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
