Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Millwright to join our team, who can performs duties in a safe manner with a focus on accident prevention. Perform general maintenance on hydraulics, pneumatics and mechanically operated equipment.

Position Summary.

Repair and troubleshoot CNC mechanical machine problems in a safe and efficient manner (e.g.. Press, brake press, spot welding, paint line equipment, CNC lathes and mills - Hardinge, Mazak, Okuma, Muratec. Doosan etc.) and general Machine Shop equipment Trouble shoot mechanical and electrical machine and equipment problems Ensure that all mechanical work done is to done safely & in compliance with codes and regulations Perform preventative maintenance work as required and work with other trades and improve team skills Assist and perform major machine repairs (Spindles, bearings, ballscrews etc.) Ability to perform machine moves and installations from start to finish Ensure stock of basic parts are kept in order Ensure appropriate paper work is being completed for each machine in the maintenance log and prepare breakdown analysis Effective communication and maintenance of workplace in a neat and clean manner Ability to operate a Lift Truck, Skyjack and Boom in a safe and responsible manner Maintain and update manuals in the Maintenance department as necessary Ability to work overtime on short notice is required Work in a safe manner in accordance with health and safety standards Follow all procedures i.e.. Lockout, Fall Arrest, etc.

Additional Responsibilities:

Support and initiate continuous improvement initiatives Attend meetings to provide updated information as things change Other duties/projects as assigned.

Qualification / profile / Competencies:

Education:

Dual ticketed Millwright/Electrician 443A & 442A Certification to operate a Lift Truck is considered an asset

Experience:

3-5 years of experience working in a mechanical trade in a manufacturing maintenance department Experience with Hydraulic Presses, pneumatic systems, Spline Rollers, Induction hardeners, Grinders, conveyors ,coolant sytems, and pumps Experience in Fanuc and Mazak (Mitsubishi) controls, Allen Bradley PLC ,and amiliar with ABB and Fanuc Robots

Fast paced, exposure to seasonal weather temperatures in the plant

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $30.00-$35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
