Millwright in our Maintenance Department on the Night Shift!

Night Shift Hours: Sunday to Thursday 11:15pm to 7:30am

What you'll do

:

The Maintenance Mechanic/Millwright maintains machinery within the Packaging Department and assists with training the Packaging Operators on set-up and minor adjustments to equipment. A 433A Millwright Trade Certificate is strongly preferred.

Main Duties Include:



Perform routine maintenance of packaging equipment and conveyors. Detect and troubleshoot equipment irregularities and malfunctions. Machine rebuilds/overhauls. Maintain packaging equipment for maximum efficiency. Assist Production Department and Mixing Plant with any required maintenance. Train Packaging Operators on machine set-ups and adjustments. Participate in continuous improvement projects. Continually develop skills and progress to increasingly more complex maintenance tasks. Perform all tasks in the safest possible manner and maintain good housekeeping practices. Other duties as assigned.

What you'll have:

Industrial Mechanic Millwright Trade Certification (433A). 3rd or 4th year Millwright Apprentice will be considered. 1 to 2 years' experience in an industrial environment. Wielding experience an asset. Knowledge and understanding of PLC. Excellent analytical problem-solving skills to troubleshoot and repair equipment. Knowledge and understanding of automated, robotic, and pneumatic packaging equipment. Mechanical and electrical aptitude. Demonstrated sense of urgency in reacting quickly to problems as they arise to minimize production downtime. Proactive and self-motivated. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Intermediate computer skills. Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices. Ability to work with minimal supervision.

Non-certified - $35.89 to $39.75

Certified - $39.35 to $43.59
