Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Maintenance Manager to oversee the maintenance operations within our facility. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a comprehensive understanding of industrial maintenance practices, including mechanical and electrical systems. This role is crucial in ensuring the reliability and efficiency of our manufacturing processes through effective management of maintenance activities.

Responsibilities

Lead and supervise the maintenance team, providing guidance and support to ensure high performance. Develop and implement maintenance strategies to optimize equipment reliability and minimize downtime. Manage projects related to equipment upgrades, installations, and repairs, ensuring timely completion within budget constraints. Utilize Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) to track maintenance activities, schedules, and inventory management. Conduct regular inspections of machinery and equipment to identify potential issues and ensure compliance with safety regulations. Collaborate with other departments to coordinate maintenance activities with production schedules. Provide training and development opportunities for maintenance staff to enhance their skills in areas such as HVAC, electrical systems, and programmable logic controllers (PLCs). Analyze schematics and technical documentation to troubleshoot complex mechanical issues effectively.

Skills

Proven management experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting. Strong project management skills with the ability to oversee multiple tasks simultaneously. In-depth knowledge of industrial maintenance practices, including mechanical knowledge and electrical experience. Familiarity with HVAC systems and low voltage applications. Proficiency in using CMMS for tracking maintenance activities. Excellent leadership abilities with a focus on team development and performance improvement. Strong communication skills in English, both written and verbal. Ability to read and interpret schematics for troubleshooting purposes. Supervising experience in a fast-paced environment is essential.
