Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Maintenance Manager to oversee our maintenance operations in a food manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a comprehensive understanding of food safety and maintenance processes. This role requires effective management of maintenance staff, ensuring equipment reliability, and implementing preventive maintenance programs to enhance operational efficiency.

Duties

Lead and supervise the maintenance team, providing guidance and support to ensure high-quality performance. Develop and manage maintenance schedules, ensuring timely completion of all tasks. Oversee the operation and troubleshooting of programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and other automated systems. Maintain inventory of spare parts and track trends in ordering. Conduct regular inspections of equipment to identify potential issues and implement corrective actions. Develop and maintain a preventative maintenance program. Collaborate with production teams to minimize downtime and optimize equipment performance. Provide training and development opportunities for maintenance staff to enhance their skills in mechanical, electrical, boilers, HVAC, and low voltage systems. Interpret schematics and technical drawings to facilitate repairs and installations. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and best practices in all maintenance activities.

Requirements

Proven experience in a management role within a manufacturing setting. 5-years supervisory experience in a manufacturing facility. Strong project management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively. Extensive knowledge of industrial maintenance practices, including mechanical and electrical systems. Proficiency in working with HVAC systems and low voltage applications. Experience supervising teams, with demonstrated leadership capabilities. Familiarity with programmable logic controllers (PLCs). Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal. Ability to read and interpret schematics for troubleshooting purposes. A strong commitment to safety standards and practices within the workplace. Pay: $100,000.00-$140,000.00 per year
