Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Maintenance Manager to oversee the maintenance operations within our manufacturing facility. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership abilities and a comprehensive understanding of industrial maintenance practices. This role requires effective project management skills, mechanical knowledge, and the ability to work with various systems including HVAC and programmable logic controllers. The Maintenance Manager will be responsible for ensuring that all equipment is maintained in optimal working condition, thereby supporting production efficiency and safety.

Responsibilities

Lead and supervise the maintenance team, providing guidance and support to ensure high performance. Develop and implement maintenance schedules using Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS). Oversee the repair and maintenance of machinery, equipment, and facilities to minimize downtime. Manage projects related to facility upgrades, equipment installations, and preventative maintenance initiatives. Interpret schematics and technical drawings to troubleshoot issues effectively. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a safe working environment for all employees. Coordinate with other departments to align maintenance activities with production schedules. Provide training and development opportunities for team members to enhance their skills in mechanical and electrical systems.

Requirements

Proven experience in a management role within a manufacturing or industrial setting. Strong project management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively. Proficiency in working with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and low voltage systems. Extensive mechanical knowledge coupled with electrical experience, particularly in HVAC systems. Familiarity with CMMS software for tracking maintenance activities. Excellent leadership skills with a track record of supervising teams effectively. Strong communication skills in English, both written and verbal. Ability to read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals related to maintenance tasks.
