Reporting to the Building Manager and District Maintenance Manager, the Maintenance Assistant responds to building and equipment maintenance needs in a timely manner.
Completes preventive maintenance on buildings and site equipment.
Performs general carpentry repairs such as removal and installation of baseboards and flooring, and completes vacant suite maintenance tasks.
Performs full painting and paint touch-ups in all vacant suites and common areas throughout all four buildings
Assists with shipping and receiving and general tasks as required.
Receiving supply orders and stocking supplies in all buildings
Garbage and recycling removal
Ensures buildings and grounds are safe and hazard free including snow and ice removal when required.
Completes daily, weekly and monthly checklists documenting work performed.
On call to promptly responds to emergency maintenance requests.
Assists with fire alarm and emergency light testing.
Collaborates with and assists other departments as requested.
Adheres to safe work practices.
