Maintenance Manager - 3 Months contract (can be extended)
Position Overview
The Maintenance Manager is responsible for ensuring optimal performance, reliability, and longevity of the Client's advanced warehouse automation systems including AMRs, AGVs, stations, and integrated subsystems. This leadership role requires expertise in managing people, processes, and cutting-edge technology while driving maximum system uptime, cost optimization, regulatory compliance, and continuous operational improvement to support seamless customer operations.
Responsibilities:
1. Leadership & People Management
Lead, mentor, and develop a team of maintenance technicians across single or multiple facility locations.
Create comprehensive skill assessment matrices and implement structured training and development programs.
Manage shift scheduling, resource allocation, and ensure 24/7 operational coverage.
Conduct performance reviews, provide career coaching, and drive employee engagement initiatives.
Foster a culture of safety, continuous learning, and operational excellence.
2. Preventive & Corrective Maintenance
Build and oversee preventive maintenance schedules in alignment with OEM and the Client standards.
Establish escalation protocols for critical incidents and recurring failure patterns
Manage spare parts inventory planning, procurement strategies, and vendor relationships.
Raise JIRA/ServiceDesk tickets as and when required and track them down to closure.
3. Operational Excellence
Define, monitor, and report on KPIs such as Mean Time to Repair (MTTR), Mean Time Between Failures (MTBF), hardware uptime, and OEE.
Collaborate with Operations and Engineering teams for root cause analysis and design improvements.
Implement continuous improvement projects to reduce downtime and maintenance cost.
4. Compliance & Safety
Ensure all work complies with OSHA, ISO, and local safety standards.
Conduct regular audits and safety drills.
Maintain CMMS records accurately for audits and customer reporting.
Skills & Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor's in mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics, or Industrial Engineering.
Experience: 7-10 years in industrial automation/warehousing/manufacturing maintenance; at
least 3 years in a supervisory role.
Technical Skills:
Knowledge of robotics, automation software, and sensors.
