The Role:





The Engineering Department's employees are the keepers of maintaining the hotel. You are responsible for repairing and maintaining the hotel's physical structure in accordance with Pomeroy Kananaskis Mountain Lodge's standards for quality, cleanliness, guest satisfaction, safety and of course acknowledging guests with a smile and an "I can make it happen attitude".



The Maintenance Manager is responsible for overseeing major mechanical systems, preventative maintenance programs, physical guest room product, and directing employees within the scope of the engineering division.


Job Duties:




Develop and maintain an effective team that works cohesively as a unit. Ensure all aspects of assigned tasks are completed timely and to the highest quality standards. Maintain operating equipment to the highest standards and ensure safety. Utilize services of highly qualified and quality-oriented suppliers. Identify and prioritize organizational objectives. Continuously improve departmental processes through ongoing evaluation of performance Other duties as required.

Employment Experience and Educational Requirements:





You will be considered for this role if you have all of the following experience:


3-5 years of experience in a progressively senior role of responsibility Strong knowledge and understanding of the engineering and maintenance process Experience working in a similar setting Post-secondary education in a related field is an asset 4th Class Power Engineer Certificate (for a minimum of 3 years) Must be willing to live onsite in our staff accommodations
