The Position: Maintenance Lead

The Maintenance Lead is responsible assisting the Maintenance Manager with all engineering and maintenance operations, including maintaining the building, the grounds, mechanical equipment, guestrooms and hotel meeting space.

ACTIVITIES:

The duties of the Maintenance Lead include, but are not limited to the following:

Supervises and assists maintenance staff and contractors in the maintenance and repair of plumbing, hotel rooms, A/C and heating, ice machines, swimming pool, lighting, kitchen equipment, refrigeration, laundry, emergency systems, switch rooms, etc. Ensures all maintenance and repairs are completed on a timely, cost-effective basis and according to specifications. Responsible for the safety of the department and the building. Responds quickly to guest requests in a friendly manner. Follows up to ensure guest satisfaction. Provides a professional image at all times through appearance and dress. Follows company policies and procedures and is able to effectively communicate them to subordinates.. Completes tasks as directled by the Maintenance Manager

COMPETENCIES WE ARE SEEKING:

High School diploma or equivalent Working knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems Effective communication and people management skills Quick thinking and able to spot and resolve problems efficiently Working knowledge of various computer software programs Guest oriented and service minded with an attention to detail Excellent planning and organizing skills Ability to multi-task, meet deadlines and work under pressure Must be able to work independently and maintain a positive attitude within a busy environment ~ hours will fluctuate, must be able to work mornings, evenings, weekends, & holidays
Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $21.75 per hour
