Agilus is recruiting for a Maintenance Engineer Tailings in the Oil and Gas sector in Fort McMurray, Alberta. Our client in the Oil & Gas sector ranked as one of the largest public company in the world in 2020 Forbes Global 2000 is looking for a Maintenance Tailings Engineer to join their team for a full time, 12-months contract at Fort Hills. • Daily mechanical engineering support for all Tailings Assets including spools, barges, valves, pumps, etc
• Coordinate scheduling of planned LSD and NDE work, create notifications, update schedule, Perform pre-LSD field walkdowns of lines
• Resolve issues of insufficient spares arising during LSD execution
• Create post-LSD notification to order non-stock spares to replenish inventory borrowed from other WO's or expected to be needed for next LSD
• Design and create (IFC) piping scopes with layout drawings and BOM
• Review and respond to RFI's submitted by Maint, Ledcor, or a vendor. Communicate change and assign follow-up actions as necessary
• Develop scopes and manage Maint & Ops initiated MOC's for Coarse Tailings, Fine Tailings, Drainage/wells

Successful candidates will have:

• 5 to 10+ years of tailings/pipeline experienced considered an asset
• Mechanical Engineering Degree or Diploma, registered with APEGA
• Ananlytic's for various Tailings assets (ie wear rates, life achieved, etc)
• Applicants with experience in Pits and Tailing would only be considered
• Only applicants residing in Canada with valid work permit, PR and Residents can apply
