Job Description

• Daily mechanical engineering support for all Tailings Assets including spools, barges, valves, pumps, etc,
• Coordinate scheduling of planned LSD and NDE work, create notifications, update schedule
• Perform pre-LSD field walkdowns of lines
• Respond to QA questions and recommendations, evaluate and approve deviations from LSD SOW
• Review regional CM draft LSD SOW and develop final SOW
• Revise as needed based on walkdowns, found work, RFI's
• Resolve issues of insufficient spares arising during LSD execution
• Create post-LSD notification to order non-stock spares to replenish inventory borrowed from other WO's or expected to be needed for next LSD
• Design and create (IFC) FTL Ped piping scopes with layout drawings and BOM
• Design and create (IFC) piping scopes with layout drawings and BOM
• Review and respond to RFI's submitted by Maint, Ledcor, or a vendor. Communicate change and assign follow-up actions as necessary
• Answer SCM/vendor technical questions
• Track pour hours, adjust Ped scope tie points, intiate preventative action, report on condition
• Perform RCA, prepare report, assign causal analysis team members and set up meetings, assign enablon actions, communicate learnings
• Support Ops/Maint response, field observations for RCA
• Develop scopes and manage Maint & Ops initiated MOC's for Coarse Tailings, Fine Tailings, Drainage/wells.

• Key Accountabilities:

• SOW creation for line shutdowns, pedlifts and all spool changes.
• Ananlytic's for various Tailings assets (ie wear rates, life achieved, etc),
• Support maintenance and operations as needed
• Daily interaction and sharing of data and information within the Reliability group
• Required Qualifications:
• Experience and Education: Mechanical Engineering Degree or Diploma, registered with APEGA, approx 5 years of tailings/pipeline experienced considered an asset
• Skills and Knowledge: Tailings and pipeline experience, analytical skills
