Red Seal technical expertise,
knowledge of
PLCs
and a couple of years of experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment.

The life of the Certified Electrician includes:
You will work with a
high-performance
team dedicated to maintaining all mill machinery including pumps, conveyors, compressors, mechanical systems, rollers and chains, bearings, and pneumatic systems involved in the manufacturing process
You will keep our systems running smoothly
by performing preventative and predictive maintenance
This includes inspecting machinery and equipment to detect and investigate irregularities and malfunctions
You
manage your time effectively
by assessing carefully and can distinguish when to assemble, move, replace, or dismantle machinery
You will
apply your knowledge
, skills, and experience to
troubleshoot issues,
boost equipment reliability, and implement safe, reliable fixes to keep the site running
You have great
attention to detail
to utilize blueprints, wiring diagrams, and manufacturer's installation manuals to complete assigned projects
You
utilize your acumen
to Inspect and test components of
electrical systems
,
including transformers
,
transfer switches,
and
switch gears
You are
accountable
for assisting in a
safe work environment
for coworkers, customers, and visitors on site with good housekeeping
Other duties, related to the position, will be assigned as required
For this role, you come equipped with:
Minimum 3-5 years' experience in industrial maintenance
Journeyperson Certificate, red seal considered an asset but not required
Physical capability to lift objects weighing up to 50lbs
Ability to work between day and afternoon shift as required by the schedule
High degree of urgency
Excellent teamwork skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with coworkers
Superior troubleshooting skills
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to work in a safe and efficient manner
Knowledge of the lumber manufacturing process is an asset
