Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Crew Member to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for outdoor work and a strong interest in landscape maintenance. As a Crew Member, you will be responsible for various tasks that contribute to the upkeep and beautification of gardens and landscapes. This role requires hands-on work using both hand tools and power tools, as well as the ability to work effectively as part of a team.

Responsibilities

Assist in garden maintenance, including planting, weeding, and pruning plants. Perform landscape maintenance tasks such as mowing, edging, and mulching. Utilize hand tools and power tools safely and effectively to complete assigned tasks. Maintain irrigation systems to ensure proper watering of plants and landscapes. Dig trenches or holes for planting or installation of landscape features. Build and install landscape structures as required by project specifications. Maintain a clean and organized work environment, ensuring tools are stored properly after use. Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and on schedule.

Skills

Knowledge of garden care techniques and landscape maintenance practices. Proficiency in using hand tools such as shovels, rakes, and pruners. Familiarity with power tools including trimmers, blowers, and saws is preferred. Mechanical knowledge for basic equipment troubleshooting and maintenance. Ability to dig effectively while maintaining safety standards on-site. Strong teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively with colleagues. A proactive attitude towards learning new skills related to landscaping and maintenance.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Seasonal
Contract length: 4 months

Pay: $23.00-$27.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
