Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Maintenance Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the efficient operation of our facilities through effective maintenance and repair of equipment and systems. This role requires a proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team. The Maintenance Technician will also play a key role in process improvement initiatives and may be involved in project management tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform preventative maintenance and minor repairs on equipment, tools, and facility systems

Troubleshoot mechanical and basic electrical issues

Support equipment installs, upgrades, and relocations

Maintain safe, clean, and organized workspaces

Collaborate with contractors and vendors

Assist with projects such as lighting, ventilation, and facility enhancements

Perform general labor (e.g., landscaping, demolition, drywall patching, painting)

Operate hand/power tools and adhere to all safety protocols

Respond to service requests and complete detailed documentation

Monitor building systems, conduct surveillance tours, and ensure site cleanliness

Qualifications:

5+ years of hands-on building operations or maintenance experience

Mechanical maintenance or millwright experience preferred

Strong problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills

Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle

Comfortable with physical work and operating tools/equipment

Ability to work independently or as part of a team

Willingness to be on call

Expected hours: 10 - 30 per week
