Maintenance Clerk
for our office in Langley BC reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor.
Key Responsibilities:
Maintain and update maintenance records, logs, and documentation (e.g., work orders, service history).
Coordinate maintenance schedules and dispatch work orders to appropriate staff or contractors.
Order, receive, and track parts, tools, and supplies; maintain inventory levels.
Assist with data entry and report generation related to maintenance activities and costs.
Communicate with vendors, contractors, and other departments regarding service needs or issues.
Ensure all maintenance files and digital records are organized and accessible.
Support safety and compliance tracking by helping to maintain logs and inspection records.
Assist in monitoring preventive maintenance schedules and follow up on overdue tasks.
Provide general administrative support to the maintenance team as required.
Other tasks as assigned
Qualifications:
2 years + of administrative or clerical experience; experience in a maintenance or facilities environment is preferred.
Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) and familiarity with CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems).
Excellent organizational and time management skills.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
Strong communication skills in English and Mandarin is a must.
