We are currently searching for talented individuals that shares our corporate values and beliefs to fill an immediate full-time requirement for a Maintenance Assistant role in our Uxbridge, Ontario facility.

What You Will Do

• Embrace Koch MBM\xc2\xae Guiding Principles and EH&S compliance requirements.
• Drive continuous improvement efforts and defect reduction initiatives.
• Support our proactive safety culture.
• Maintain a clean and organized working environment.
• Perform day to day activities of Maintenance department. Update and communicate with supervisor regularly.
• Daily maintenance of machinery including lubricating with oil, repairs.
• Daily shop building maintenance.
• Ensure machinery has required safety guards in place.
• Troubleshooting and repairing manufacturing process equipment as directed.
• Ability to handle materials and parts up to 50lbs.
• Flexible, adaptable, ability to work overtime.

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)

• Maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to operate motorized equipment (forklifts, overheard cranes, scissor lifts)
• Must be able to perform routine equipment inspection.
• Experience using computerized records system.
• Ability to handle materials and parts up to 50lbs.
• Valid driver\'s license.

What Will Put You Ahead

• Experience in a shop as a Maintenance Assistant.
• Working knowledge to repair and maintain heavy-duty stamping machinery (presses, turret presses, press brakes etc)
• Basic working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
