Job Description

We are a novel property management company with a commitment to serve both the tenants and the landlords in an equitable and transparent manner. And hearing to and solving tenant issues promptly is a core value to our business. We are growing and are looking for an individual who can lead the property maintenance department within the company. An ideal candidate will be someone with hands on tools experience, who can fix small maintenance issues by self and manage the maintenance contractors when and where necessary. This can be a good opportunity for an apprentice or a red seal tradesperson who would not only enjoy fixing property issues and working on tools but also learn and implement project and property management in the day to day work. Maintenance Responsibilities:

  • Supervising and leading all maintenance processes and operations
  • Being single point of contact for all maintenance inquiries
  • Ensuring all inquiries are logged in the property management system
  • Creating and implementing maintenance procedures
  • Conducting regular inspections of properties to detect and resolve issues
  • Planning and managing all repair and installation activities
  • Assigning repair schedules to vendors and evaluating repair cost estimates
Quality Control Responsibilities:
  • Inspecting properties at regular intervals and making sure all maintenance activities such as landscape are being performed diligently by the contractors
  • Preparing inspection reports for in-suite inspections
Requirements:
  • Class 5 drivers license
  • High school diploma or equivalent qualification
  • Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in business administration, facility management, or a similar field is preferred
  • A minimum of 1 years experience in maintenance
  • Good understanding of general plumbing, carpentry, and electrical systems.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent Salary: $32.00-$38.00 per hour Benefits:
