Job Overview

Stratford/Mitchell area business is looking for a Maintenance and Production member for our team. We service the farming community with forage related products and equipment to a growing customer base.

Responsibilities

Light Service and Maintenance of modern equipment. Trucks, forklifts, trailers, small engines and production plant equipment. Production, Packaging and Quality Control of products we sell. This includes our flagship liquid product and equipment/parts for sale. On-Farm service and installation of application equipment. Local On-Farm deliveries. Shop work and general labour. Shop work includes manufacturing and welding in a well equipped, modern facility. Organization of products and warehouse. Operate current, clean and well maintained equipment.

Skills required

Valid Class G Driver's License and willing to obtain a higher class of license. Ex- AR, AZ or DZ (will train). Clean Driver's Abstract. AZ, DZ or A-Restricted license is an asset. Hard working, positive attitude, reliable. Able to work independently. Self motivated and honest. Mechanical ability. Organizational Skills and Attention to Detail. Prior mixing/batching experience an asset.

Compensation

Hourly rate will be paid based on skill set. Wage range $28 to $32 per hour. Overtime paid after 44 hours per week. Opportunities for overtime in our busy season. Standard hours are Monday to Friday. Option for weekend work in busy season. Health Spending Account after 3 months.
