This position reports to the Director, Maintenance, Potash and is based in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan.

What you will do:

  • Supporting site failure analysis through facilitation of RCA\'s, RCA training, RCA contribution as a Subject Matter Expert, engaging internal SME\'s in RCA, locating and procuring external SME\'s, etc.
  • Ownership of Condition Based Monitoring (CBM) and Predictive Maintenance (PdM) programs, software, support across all potash sites.
  • Ownership of Employee Driven Reliability (EDR) program, software, support across all potash sites.
  • Ownership of borer rotor gearing standard and support for implementation for all potash sites.
  • Lubrication program support including lube prescriptions, route development, sample procedures and sample analysis and interpretation.
  • Supporting site asset strategy development through sharing of successful strategies between sites, facilitation or procurement of Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM) workshops, RCM training, SME engagement, etc.
What you will bring:
  • 10 years maintenance & reliability experience combined with a degree in engineering, business or other related field, or 15 years of experience in maintenance and reliability combined with journeyperson in related trade.
  • Underground mining and/or mineral processing experience in potash or a related field is required.
  • Formal training and/or specific experience such as RCM, RCM2, lubrication, vibration, alignment, thermography, ultrasonic, RCFA/Cause Map, TapRoot, etc.
  • Formal qualifications such as CMRP, or MMP is an asset.
  • Oracle (eAM and OBIEE), SAP and Viziya (Scheduler, Mobile) experience and/or training is an asset.
  • Experience or formal training in change management is an asset.
The position is based out of the Nutrien Saskatoon office but will require travel to operating sites across Saskatchewan and occasionally out of province/country.
