Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Heavy Equipment Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in heavy equipment operation and a strong understanding of construction processes including Sewer, Water, and Road building. As a Finish grade operator, you will be responsible for ensuring that projects are completed to the highest standards of quality and efficiency. This role requires attention to detail, a commitment to safety, and the ability to work collaboratively with other team members.

Duties

Operate heavy equipment such as bulldozers, Caterpillars, backhoes, and loaders to complete finishing tasks on construction sites. Pave surfaces and ensure proper grading for drainage and aesthetics. Dig trenches and prepare sites for further construction activities. Utilize horizontal drilling techniques as needed for specific project requirements. Collaborate with team members to build structures according to project specifications. Maintain equipment in good working condition and report any issues promptly. Follow all safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.

Skills

Proficient in heavy equipment operation, including bulldozers, Caterpillars, backhoes, and loaders. Experience in sewer, water, roadbuilding and site finishing work. Strong understanding of construction processes and techniques. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Strong communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $45.00-$50.00 per hour
