The Opportunity:



As an Insert Technician II you would be working in our Distribution Department to ensure the highest standards of quality and efficiencies are achieved.



What you'll do:



Set production mode for designated module (L1, L2, L3) Assign feeder stations as per Production Map Verify inserts are assigned correctly Make applicable changes to bundle sizes Release routes to enable production to begin. Coordinate insert changes with little or no downtime Create appropriate routes on the DIM for required docks/exits Set bundle size, page size and copies per gripper when running production direct to stacker Share best practices with DC Team Lead and other Insert Technician II Support the DC Department by assisting other roles, as necessary Inform Stacker Technicians of route sequence to allow for accurate set up of downstream equipment Communicate with colleagues to maintain peak performance and ensure the highest quality of product is achieved Maintain a safe working environment at all times through the enforcement of Company Perform preventative maintenance and daily inspections on all related equipment Other duties as required

Who you are:



Demonstrated superior knowledge of computers systems (Microsoft Office, Filemaker Pro) Working experience on computer controlled mechanical/production equipment. Quality conscious coupled with strong troubleshooting capabilities. Able to operate Stacker and strapper Licensed on counterbalance and low-lift equipment (walkie) Detail-oriented with good organizational and communications skills. Must be able to write and speak English Must be a team player with sound understanding of process flow and knowledge of customer requirements Proven ability to work in a deadline driven chaotic environment, with a focus on safety and time management

The successful candidate must be able to work shifts in a 24 hour / 7 day a week environment.
