Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Montessori Guide (MACTE or AMI Trained) to join our vibrant educational community. The ideal candidate will foster a nurturing and stimulating environment for children, guiding them in their learning journey while adhering to Montessori principles. This role requires strong leadership skills, a commitment to early childhood education, and the ability to engage with children effectively.

Responsibilities

Develop and implement individualized lesson plans that cater to the diverse needs of each child. Create a prepared environment that encourages exploration, independence, and a love for learning. Observe and assess children's progress, providing constructive feedback and support. Foster positive relationships with students, parents, and staff to promote a collaborative learning atmosphere. Lead classroom activities that stimulate cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development. Maintain accurate records of student progress and communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's development. Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the educational experience through shared resources and ideas. Uphold Montessori philosophy and practices in all aspects of teaching and classroom management.

Requirements

MACTE or AMI certification in Montessori education is required. Experience in early childhood education or childcare is preferred. Strong leadership abilities with a focus on fostering teamwork within the classroom. Excellent time management skills to balance multiple responsibilities effectively. Bilingual skills are a plus, enhancing communication with diverse families. Proficient in computer operation for administrative tasks and communication purposes. Knowledge of special education practices is beneficial for supporting all learners. Ability to write clear reports and documentation regarding student progress in English.
