. We are currently hiring a

Machinist

to support our production operations.

Employment requirements

Secondary school At least 1 - 2 years of experience in a similar position as Machinist in an industrial manufacturing environment. Physically capable of handling heavy materials (ability to lift up to 50 lbs.). Ability to stand for extended periods Attention to details Effective communication and teamwork skills; ability to work independently and collaboratively in a production setting. Language of work English.

Duties & Responsibilities

Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and work orders to determine machining requirements, and the optimal sequence of operations. Calculate and verify dimensions, tolerances, and reference points; measure and lay out work pieces to prepare for machining operations. Set up, operate and maintain a variety of machine tools to perform required operation Monitor machining operations to ensure adherence to specifications, making adjustments as necessary to maintain accuracy and quality standards. Fit and assemble machined metal parts and subassemblies to complete finished products. Perform routine maintenance, cleaning, and minor repairs on machines and equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety.

Wage

$37.50 per hour
